The Fotona 4D is a specially designed skin tightening series of lasers that treat tissue from the internal oral mucosa all the way through to the exterior facial skin. This provides a full-thickness contraction of tissue that produces a lifting and volumizing effect without the use of injectables.

Step 1: SmoothLiftin™
A unique and out of the ordinary approach to laser stimulation – targeting tissue from within the mouth. The use of the Erbium smooth laser from within the mouth allows for the reaching of deeper tissue than would otherwise be possible through just the approach from the outside.
This results in an improvement in folds and lines as overall tightening is more complete and thorough.
Step 2: FRAC3 Mode™
High intensity fractional energy is delivered deep into the skin from the outside to promote collagen remodelling, thereby reducing the appearance of pores and lines, improving overall tone and complexion.
Step 3: PIANO Mode™
This involves the use of a bulk heating laser that gradually and thoroughly heats tissue to an optimal 40 to 42 degrees Celsius, promoting tissue contraction and producing a firmer and more lifted face.

How often should I do the laser?
Patients generally benefit most from 3-4 sessions, each done 4 weeks apart. Subsequent sessions are done at 6 month intervals for maintenance.
How long do results typically last?
Results show several weeks after the first laser as remodelling and exfoliation commences. This continues for 3-4 months after the last session, with results lasting up to 6 months.
What should I expect during the Fotona4D Laser treatment?
Numbing cream is not typically required, though it can be applied for 15 to 30 minutes if desired to improve overall comfort. Lasering within the oral cavity feels warm but no pain is felt.
What are the post Fotona4D treatment care requirements?
Minimal to no downtime (mild redness typically) is expected, and you may carry on with your daily activities. As with all energy devices, however, it is advisable to reduce sun exposure for up to a week after the treatment. Sunscreen is essential, particularly in Singapore’s sunny climate.
